What is “360 minute art” exhibition?
The artists show their works for exactly 360 minutes. Pictures will be shown neither before nor after the exhibition, but only within this strictly fixed time period.
A big red digital clock shows the minutes passing by. Once the clock has counted down to zero, all artworks which have not found a buyer are taken down and burned in a fire in the yard.
All the people who come together there within those 360 minutes go through a unique experience that is not repeatable.
The art of “Gridlock”
“Gridlock” is a new collection of original artworks created by artists Igor Posavec and Sven Sauer (SA-PO). This Art Series consists of 5 images, exhibited on 18th October 2014 in Warsaw. “Gridlock” follows consequently the “Machinenträume” Series, with the strong involvement of machines as base actors. This serial is all about water as expression medium of fears, hopes and dreams. Combining the well known dilemma “Do machines dream of electric sheep?” with our own observations from the cities as crucible of social and technological mediums, we have created 5 visual stamps in the time. “Gridlock” was created with mix-media and sold as high quality 160cm x 90cm lambda on wood unique piece of artwork during the exhibition.
